VIP Program Update: Spot Trading Fees & Volume Requirements Will Be Updated

Dear KuCoin Users,

In order to provide better VIP services, KuCoin plans to adjust VIP privileges in the near future.

Key Updates:

• We will reduce the 30-day Spot trading volume requirement for VIP 1 to 4 users. Spot trading volume requirements for VIP1 will be reduced from 3,000,000 USD to 1,000,000 USD.

• Spot trading fees for VIP 1 to 4 users will be adjusted.

Updates will be applied on 2024-11-08.

1. Users’ spot and margin trading volumes will be tabulated between 23:00 (UTC) and 02:00 (UTC) daily. Please note that VIP tier and/or fee adjustment timings may differ from the timing when users’ spot and margin trading volumes are tabulated.
2. KuCoin reserves the right to disqualify trades that are deemed to be wash trades or illegally bulk account registrations, as well as trades that display attributes of self-dealing or market manipulation.
3. KuCoin reserves the right to disqualify any participants who tamper with KuCoin program code, or interfere with the operation of KuCoin program code with other software.
4. All trading volume and metrics related to the promotion are measured by KuCoin at its sole and absolute discretion.
5. KuCoin reserves the right to amend or terminate this fee structure at its sole discretion due to important reasons, including but not limited to:
  1. Changes in applicable regulations or policies;
  2. Obligations arising out of law or decisions issued by common courts or public administration;
  3. Anti-money laundering or combating financing terrorism rules;
  4. Technical issues beyond our control;
  5. Necessity to protect users from potential losses;
  6. Necessity to protect KuCoin from the loss of reputation;
  7. Extraordinary events or circumstances beyond our control (force majeure).
