SAO Network Releases Beta Net

SAO Network is thrilled to announce the release of SAO Network Beta, marking a historical milestone of the decentralized Web3 storage infrastructure! As a forerunner of the mainnet, SAO Network Beta will pave the way for the development of the mainnet and is used to test various features and functionalities(eg. pre-defined data models, SAO SDKs and data availability etc. ) that would eventually be immigrated into the mainnet.

At present, according to the team blog, it is not available for all public users to run nodes or use data services on the Beta Network. SAO Credit (SC) serves as the only storage payment method and node staking pledge to explore the new Beta network. In the beginning, only early active participants in the SAO Testnet will be dropped with SAO Credits, which means only limited invited users could experience the Beta Network. Yet there will be upcoming events for other community members to get SCs to access the Beta Network.
