Press release by WhiteBIT
One of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges of Ukrainian origin in Europe, WhiteBIT and Whitepay, a solution for accepting cryptocurrency payments and donations, have partnered with the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Ukraine. Thanks to this, it is now possible to help the families of seriously ill children and war victims with cryptocurrency donations.
Integrating crypto payments into charitable foundations is an effective way to help those who need it most and in the shortest possible time.
In the past, many donors may have been reluctant to exchange fees, bank delays, and other bureaucratic hurdles. Now, thanks to the integration of the Whitepay system, it is possible to convert cryptocurrency donations into Ukrainian hryvnias in a matter of seconds, which will help the RMCH to collect more international donations for Ukrainian children. Contributions in 140 cryptocurrencies from anywhere in the world are available on this donation page.
Ronald McDonald Family Rooms are the main focus of the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Ukraine activities. This program has helped parents and seriously ill children to stay close in hospitals in comfortable conditions 170 000 times already. With the onset of a full-scale invasion, the Foundation has also launched programs to support those affected by the war. The "Food Kits" program is actively operating: the war-affected families in the frontline and de-occupied areas received more than 190 000 humanitarian aid packages. Thanks to charitable contributions, the Foundation can help children, and because of the partnership with Whitepay, now there is an even more convenient way for everyone to support children — using cryptocurrency.
From the very beginning of the full-scale invasion, WhiteBIT has been actively helping Ukraine in the charitable, informational, and technical areas. For a year now, the cryptocurrency exchange has been cooperating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Thanks to the solution from Whitepay, crypto donations from all over the world are collected for UNITED24, the Serhiy Prytula Foundation, Tabletochki, and other charitable foundations.
WhiteBIT is one of the largest European centralized crypto exchanges originating from Ukraine. WhiteBIT was founded back in 2018. The team's roots are Ukrainians. Currently, the company encompasses 1000 specialists. More than 350 trading pairs, 270 assets, and 10 state currencies are represented on the exchange. The highest average daily trading volume is more than $2.5 billion.
