Tether Operations Limited (Tether), the company operating the blockchain-enabled platform tether.to that powers the first and most widely used stablecoin, is pleased to announce that Euro Tether (EUR₮) and Tether Gold (XAU₮) have been listed on SimpleSwap, an instant trading platform featuring a user-friendly interface and unlimited trades or purchases across supported exchanges.
Launched in 2018, SimpleSwap bills itself as a platform that enables instant trades across a number of exchanges. Since the platform offers 500+ types of digital assets for customers to select, customers have several options for trading pairs to choose from.
SimpleSwap customers now have the ability to trade for or purchase two stablecoins from the inventors of USD₮, the world’s first, most stable, and trusted stablecoin. With the availability of XAU₮ on the platform, customers can purchase or trade for a stablecoin that represents ownership of physical gold, long seen as a hedge against inflation. Additionally, with EUR₮’s launch on SimpleSwap, customers have gained access to the Euro-pegged stablecoin from the stablecoin company that has never refused a valid redemption request in its history.
“We are pleased EUR₮ and XAU₮ have been listed on SimpleSwap,” said Paolo Ardoino, CTO at Tether. “We are certain that customers trading on SimpleSwap will be thrilled to have access to products that are backed by the company behind the first, largest, most liquid, and most widely used stablecoin in the world.”
In addition to trades, SimpleSwap also offers a light crypto wallet that can be used as a browser plug-in. SimpleSwap’s mobile application is available both on iOS and Android, and is available in 10 languages.
