Team Stange Racing with Dignity Gold enters the international world of motorsports at the GT Sprint Race (series) in Brazil

- A Ford Mustang, car number 77, will make its debut on March 13 - 

Team Stange Racing, the only Chicago-based NASCAR team,  along with its partner, Dignity Gold, LLC, has announced it will join the international world of motorsports by entering a car in the 2022 GT Sprint Race (series) in Brazil. 

“Expanding into the international world of motorsports is another important step for our racing team and it opens the door to global sponsors,” stated John Stange, Jr.,  President and CEO of Team Stange Racing. “Brazilians are very passionate about racing, and we hope to help NASCAR grow its fanbase. The number 77 Dignity Gold Ford Mustang Team Stange racing car will make its GT  Sprint Race debut on Sunday, March 13 in Santa Cruz do Sul, Brazil. Stage 1, the first of nine stages, will be broadcast live on Band Sports TV and the YouTube channels for Motorsport.com and Acelerados. About Tarso Marques 

Tarso Marques, 46, is a Brazilian racing driver who has participated in 24 Formula  One Grands Prix, all with the Minardi team, beginning in 1996. In 1999, he moved stateside to drive in the American Champ Car ranks and caught the eye of legendary team owner Roger Penske. When two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Al Unser Jr. was injured, Penske asked him to fill in and he finished as high as 5th. In 2000, 2004, and  2005, he drove in that series for Dale Coyne Racing.
