The 13-X Loophole is a financial investment guide that is designed to provide investors with information on leveraging a so-called “loophole” in the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Schedule 13-X disclosure forms. This loophole allows large institutional investors to begin purchasing large quantities of stocks in relative secret for a period of anywhere between 24 hours to 10 days before the disclosure goes public.
Large purchases of these specific stocks are almost always followed by a significant uptick in their valuation. The 13-X Loophole is, purportedly, a method for identifying these purchases before they are disclosed, providing opportunities to invest in these same stocks as well in order to reap the rewards once the large institutional sales become common knowledge.
The Company
The 13-X Loophole is a product of Palm Beach Research Group, an finance and investment publisher headquartered in Florida. The company specializes in subscription-based monthly financial newsletters across a number of topics, with a focus on building retirement income and identifying new investment techniques.
The author of the study is Jason Bodner, a financial analyst and an editor for Palm Beach Research Group’s The Palm Beach Trader, one of the company’s many monthly newsletters.
About 13-X Loophole
The 13-X Loophole is, as mentioned above, a financial report written by Jason Bodner. This report claims to reveal the identity of three new stocks that he has identified as new 13-X stocks that are, according to him, destined to become incredibly successful in just a few short days or weeks.
Other investment materials are included in this offer from Palm Beach Research Group, however. They include the following “bonus” products.
The Palm Beach Trader Manifesto:
This report details access to understanding how to spot 13-X trades before they happen, providing investors timing on when to buy stocks that are supposedly about to explode in valuation. The guide also purports to educate readers on when to sell those same stocks at the point where the return on investment will be at the highest.
The Palm Beach Trader User Guide:
A short, 7-page “quick start guide” created by Bodner to make sure investors get off to a profitable start. Information includes guidelines for portfolio allocation, setting price limits for buying stocks, and instructions on using stop losses to limit exposure to risk.
A subscription To The Palm Beach Trader:
Included in the price of this entire package is a year’s subscription to The Palm Beach Trader, the monthly investment newsletter edited by Bodner for Palm Beach Research Group.
Subscription to The Palm Beach Trader comes with a number of benefits. These include monthly buy and sell recommendations for 13-X stocks, video updates, and access to a members-only website and model portfolio.
The entire cost of this package is $1500. This represents a 50% discount over the $3000 a year standard fee for access to The Palm Beach Trader alone. In light of the high price tag, Bodner is confident enough in his products to offer two guarantees. The first is a standard 30-day money-back no-questions-asked guarantee. The second is an offer of an additional year of access to The Palm Beach Trader for free if his 13-X stock recommendations don’t deliver a 100 percent profit on three separate occasions.
The Opportunity
The opportunity Bodner presents here is access to what could be valuable information that may reveal excellent stock picks for future success. Bodner makes a strong case for his 13-X stock picking ability and provides a number of examples to prove his point.
13-X Loophole Verdict
Does this sound too good to be true? That’s because The 13-X Loophole probably is.
First, let’s address the elephant in the room: Palm Beach Research Group has a terrible reputation. Many disgruntled would-be investors have made some very serious claims against the company and have reported that Palm Beach Research uses bait-and-switch tactics when it comes to their products. It’s also been reported that the company makes it intentionally difficult to cancel their subscription-based products, relying on auto-renew policies to line their pockets.
Truth be told, Bodner’s offer is less about making his 13-X Loophole financial report available to the masses as it is about boosting subscription numbers for his monthly newsletter. This tactic is typical of other Palm Beach Research Group offers. The fact that access is “just” $1500 provides a false sense of value.
Is Bodner’s stock picks accurate? Maybe. Maybe not. Will you become incredibly rich overnight if you follow his recommendations? Based on the massive number of very angry former Palm Beach Research Group customers, signs point to probably not. You may want to seek investment advice elsewhere.
