Real Wealth Strategist is an email newsletter that recently launched an online marketing campaign focusing on marijuana legalization. Find out if the newsletter is worth the price today in our review.
What Is Real Wealth Strategist?
Real Wealth Strategist is an email newsletter offered by Banyan Hill Publishing, a Baltimore-based investment analysis company.
As part of a recent advertising campaign, Banyan Hill Publishing has decided to bundle Real Wealth Strategist with a series of marijuana investment eBooks. The eBooks explain the investment potential of marijuana legalization, including the specific ways ordinary investors can take advantage of the burgeoning industry. Other bonus eBooks cover the mining space and commodities.
Real Wealth Strategist is led by Matt Badiali. Matt is a geologist and financial analyst whose work has taken him around the world. He markets himself online as a commodity investment expert. Much of his research and analysis focuses on the investment potential of various natural resources and commodities.
As part of the recent online marketing campaign, Real Wealth Strategist is available at a price of $47 to $129 per year. Your purchase includes several eBooks and online reports.
When Real Wealth Strategist arrives in your email inbox every month, youâll learn about the latest movements in natural resources and commodities stocks. The newsletter broadly covers any resources that can be mined, grown, collected, and processed. From the lumber industry to mining to marijuana, Real Wealth Strategist aims to comprehensively cover the marijuana industry in a way that other newsletters do not.
In addition to market research and analysis, Real Wealth Strategist aims to provide specific stock tips. The company aims to find the best commodity stocks and recommend those stocks to investors.
Generally, Matt Badiali and the Real Wealth Strategist team will recommend commodity stocks that are showing growth and stability in the market, including stocks offered by major oil purchasers and distributors, pipeline companies, metal mining companies, large metal purchasers, cannabis producers, and more.
Real Wealth Strategist is more than just a monthly email newsletter; subscribers also get access to Matt Badialiâs model portfolio, a weekly podcast, trade alerts, and a subscribers-only website.
Real Wealth Strategist And Marijuana Investing
In the recent online marketing campaign, Matt Badiali and his team at Real Wealth Strategist focus particularly on marijuana stocks.
âRight now, you have the extraordinary opportunity to benefit from the federal legalization of medical marijuana,â
begins one webpage advertising Real Wealth Strategist online.
âBy positioning yourself ahead of the mainstream, you have the chance to begin turning every $50 into more than $2,080 as the market surges 4,067%.â
Itâs unclear where Matt Badiali and the Real Wealth Strategist team got those numbers. However, you should be skeptical anytime somebody is trying to sell you investment advice while promising returns over 4,000%.
Various issues of Real Wealth Strategist will cover the effects of marijuana legalization, including the specific stocks investors may wish to purchase to take advantage of the growing industry. However, the team is also bundling a handful of marijuana reports with your subscription.
These reports include:
Marijuana Millionaires: How To Make 10X Profits In A $475 Billion Industry
The Real Wealth Strategist team claims that average investors like you can become millionaires by investing in the right marijuana stocks today. The opportunity is described as a once-in-a-lifetime chance to make a significant ROI from the impending legalization of marijuana nationwide.
âWhen medical marijuana receives federal legalization, fortunes will be made all across our country for the early investors who recognized the opportunity,â
explains the intro to this eBook.
As mentioned in the title, investors are told to expect returns of 1,000% or more by following the investment advice in this guide.
The Mining Coup Of The Millennium
A second report called âThe Mining Coup of the Millenniumâ will be bundled with your Real Wealth Strategist subscription. This eBook describes a $7 billion Canadian mining company that is reportedly sitting on a 25 billion pound copper deposit, 12 million ounces of gold, and 78 million ounces of silver.
Again, the Real Wealth Strategist claims investors can earn unusually high returns in a suspiciously short period of time by following the advice in this guide:
âEarly investors could conservatively see 300% gains in the next few months,â begins the eBook.
Magic Metal Riches: Make 3,000% Gains On The Commodity Trade Of A Lifetime
Again, this book makes specific promises about the types of returns investors can expect. Real Wealth Strategist claims investors can expect to earn 3,000% gains by following the advice in this eBook. The eBook describes a mining company with 22 million tons of reserves of gold, silver, and other metals. By investing in the company today and following the investment advice I n this book, investors can earn returns of 3,000%.
Again, most of Real Wealth Strategistâs advice focuses on commodities and natural resources. In recent months, however, the newsletter has followed the trend of other financial advice newsletters by focusing on marijuana stocks and the impending effects of legalization.

Real Wealth Strategist Pricing
Real Wealth Strategistâs latest marketing campaign comes with three different pricing levels:
- Standard Subscription: $47
- Premium Subscription: $79
- Deluxe Subscription: $129
All subscriptions include the products listed above. The standard subscription includes the products in digital format, while the deluxe subscription includes them in both digital and print format. The premium subscription, meanwhile, includes both digital and print format as well as three bonus reports outlining various tax strategies.
In the fine print at the bottom of the Real Wealth Strategist sales page, youâll notice a significant catch to the pricing above: your subscription comes with automatic renewals quietly bundled in. The credit card you provide today will be charged every year until you manually cancel. Your credit card will actually be charged twice: youâll be charged $97 one year from now for The Bauman Letter and $79 one year from now for Real Wealth Strategist. If you do not want to renew these subscriptions for another year, then you need to call Real Wealth Strategist to cancel your subscription manually. Otherwise, there will be $176 of charges on your credit card.
Real Wealth Strategist uses another sleazy marketing tactic: the company claims only 1,000 spots are available, and that they are not accepting any more customers once those positions fill up. This is an absurd claim designed to convince you to make a quick purchase.
Real Wealth Strategist does not list any refund policy, although the company does claim to offer a satisfaction guarantee.
Who Is Matt Badiali?
Matt Badiali is the Editor of Real Wealth Strategist. Badiali is a geologist and financial analyst who has worked in Hong Kong, Papua New Guinea, Iraq, Singapore, Haiti, Turkey, and Switzerland.
Over the years, Badiali has worked as a geologist for drilling companies and environmental companies. He has been asked to spot problems with crewmen, determine how long a drilling operation may take, and answer questions about the health and potential of resource companies.
Badiali has a Master of Science degree in geology. Today, he continues to use his real-world experience and education to provide valuable insight into the natural resources space. He has appeared on MarketWatch, Investopedia, Politico, Fox Business News, The Wall Street Journal, and Bloomberg, among other major media outlets.
Overall, Matt Badiali appears to be an accomplished and qualified individual when it comes to researching natural resources stocks and commodity companies.
Real Wealth Strategist Conclusion
Real Wealth Strategist has a number of red flags. First, the newsletter is marketed online with absurd ROI claims. Investors are told to expect gains of 1,000% and higher by following the advice provided in Real Wealth Strategist. Investors are told they can quickly become multi-millionaires by following this advice. Claims of 3,000% ROIs are tossed around with little proof.
The other problem is with Real Wealth Strategistâs pricing policy: the company quietly charges your credit card $176 in automatic renewals one year after you first purchase your Real Wealth Strategist subscription.
Another problem is the quality of reviews online. Real Wealth Strategist has very poor reviews online from mainstream financial news websites. Most reviewers agree that the newsletter provides a good, basic overview of the natural resources sector, although it may not be worth the price.
Ultimately, itâs up to you to decide if Real Wealth Strategist is worth the high price tag. Matt Badiali seems like a competent professional who is qualified to analyze natural resources companies and commodities stocks. However, the way in which Real Wealth Strategist is marketing online leaves something to be desired.
