- x2B, a new crypto consultancy, was founded by Benoit Bosc (Millennium) and Michael Bressler (Pimco) to help with token launches and fundraising
- The firm offers professional services aimed at improving transparency and compliance in the crypto industry
- x2B accepts payment in the form of future tokens, aligning its success with clients’ outcomes
Two former executives from Pimco and Millennium Management have teamed up to create x2B, a consultancy focused on guiding crypto projects through token launches, fundraising, and market-making.
Despite being a new player, the firm has already signed 10 clients.
Professionalism and Transparency in Crypto
Benoit Bosc, former portfolio manager at Millennium, and Michael Bressler, ex-Pimco executive, both believe that the crypto industry needs a more professional and transparent approach.
x2B aims to assist with the promotion of tokens and fundraising efforts. I think the firm’s expertise in both traditional finance and digital assets will help guide projects through the challenges of token structuring and regulatory compliance, areas where many have struggled recently.
Regulatory Challenges in Token Launches
Token launches must adhere to different regulatory standards based on their location. In Switzerland, for example, launching a token requires establishing a legal entity. I think x2B’s experience will be crucial in helping clients navigate these regional complexities.
Payment in Future Tokens
x2B also accepts payment in the form of future tokens, aligning its success with its clients’.
This, I believe, could give x2B an edge in a competitive consulting market by demonstrating confidence in their client projects.
