How to Join
🇶 How can I participate in the OBT Season 1?
🇦 In OBT Season 1, the account(email) used in OverWallet will also be used in OverNode. If you are an OverWallet user, you can download and run OverNode from 02:00 UTC on December 13, 2023.
🇶 Why are only a limited number of OVER(for testing) tokens available
🇦 Because of Over Protocol’s consensus algorithm that allows a larger number of people to participate directly in the blockchain.
- Thousands of users can join in on the system, but they have to wait their turn to become validators.
- If too many people are allowed to be testnet validators, a lot of them might end up waiting in line for a long time until the testnet is over.
- For these reasons, we have decided to limit the number of participants in this OBT Season 1. We plan to give 400 OVER (for testing) tokens to ‘The Number’ of people who start the OBT.
※ Note First to sign up, first to get in! The order is set by when your email gets verified after setting up OverNode. - But, if you’ve been really into OverProtocol from the start and have over 30,000 OverWallet points, you get a special chance. You can jump into the top 10,000 spots in the line for one hour right when OBT Season 1 begins!
- After that, people with over 10,000 points who join first will get the chance. If you’re fast and meet the requirements, you’ll automatically get the OVER (for testing) tokens.
After the testnet ends, we’ll announce ‘The Number’ of people — it will be more than 20,000 spots.
🇶 Can I participate even if I don’t have OVER (for testing)?
🇦 If you don’t have any OVER (testnet), you can ask other users in the community to give you some. Then, you can start doing missions. However, the number of ‘missions’ you can complete may vary.
Recommended PC Specification
🇶 What are the recommended specifications for running OverNode?

- CPU: with 2+Â cores
- Memory: 4GBÂ RAM

🇶 What if my PC doesn’t meet the minimum or recommended specifications?
