Wait What?
CryptoSpaceX is a decentralized strategy game built on the Ethereum network. Inspired by the Star Wars, its a game where you manage your own planets, build and collect spaceships, and use them to battle other planets (Well thats just Episode I !). Level up your planets and battleships, and steal stardust by attacking other planets. Win, and you might get a large chunk of stardust. Lose, and you might have to part with one of your battleships (Naah! Just Kidding).
CryptoSpaceX combines the mesmerising story and theme of the Star Wars with key strategic game elements seen in games like Age of Empires and Clash of Clans, making it the first blockchain game to have a true strategic essence.
There’s a story too!
Yes you heard that right! We’ve been planning the game for several months now and our team came up with an overwhelming number of ideas. And we loved them all! So instead of releasing just one game, we would be launching the full game through a series of episode releases.
Each episode release while being a full fledged game, all episodes combine to build one unique story. Further previous game assets and progress shall have a role and impact in future episodes as well.
Episode I of the CryptoSpaceX series is set in the mystical galaxy of Tatooine. The episode marks the rise of the Resistance (aka Crypto Community) against the evil Empire(aka Centralised Governments). Watch the Episode I teaser to know the episode backstory.

These are dark times for the Resistance. The note by the Jedi has brought along A New Hope for us all. You must find the planet on the map and explore to mystical universe to help the Resistance step up its game.
Planets
Planets are core to this episode — this is where your defence base and battlestation is located. Each planet has its own set of unique defence mechanisms (like the shield and the AT-AT walker) — they come into action when your planet is under attack by other players. Each planet is an ERC721 token which can be traded on an open marketplace. Following the launch, new planets will not be sold but can only be found using the in-game explorer rockets.
Each planet features a range of defence mechanisms all of which have a unique move against an attackStars & Stardust
Want to build a new battleship? Want to upgrade one of your defences? Want to fire an explorer rocket? — whatever you do in the Tatooine galaxy, you would need stardust to do so. Stardust is what makes this galaxy mystical and desirable. All you need is some stardust and a creative imagination — and just like that you’ve got what you wanted.
Stars are placed at random locations in the galaxy and are fixed in number. Only the stars release new stardust in the game ecosystem which is collected by planets on their surface. Stars are never sold or created but can only be found at game launch by a few lucky users. Owning a star can be extremely rewarding as nearby planets must pay star owners to get stardust exposure.
Got a lot of stardust on your planet? Saving up for upgrading planet level? — be careful because everybody wants a piece of the pie. While you can always buy stardust from a star, winning a battle also gets you some of the opponent’s stardust.
Battles, Starships, and the BattlestationBuild, upgrade, trade and flaunt your collection of Episode I ships.
Where there is Star Wars — battles and spaceships must be. The battle mechanism used in the game incorporates elements of strategy, assault power, defence moves and randomness as well. Before every attack, the attacker must select from a list of strategic moves and the battleships to attack with. These are used as instructions for the battleships which are now tested against the defending planet. A successful attack wins you some of the opponent’s stardust while a defeat would get you nothing. The more the damage inflicted on the planet, the more stardust you get.
A level 3 battlestation guarded by 10 starships
Stardust can be used to build new battleships and add them to your collection. Episode 1 features several types of ships of the star wars universe along with new ones to give our users a unique game experience. Further each ship also has a rarity and level, with the scarcity of each guaranteed by the smart contract. While ship level can be upgraded using stardust, rarity is fixed and assigned randomly.
A spaceship can be assigned to a specific planet or simply kept as a part of your collection. Ships assigned to planets are kept on the planet’s battlestation. Only these ships can be used when attacking from a planet or defending against attacks.
Customisability and Randomness — Find and Collect Over 100 Starships
Every starship in the game features a rarity— bronze, silver, gold or guardian (rarest), which is hardcoded in the smart contracts and can never be changed. However every starship also has a ship level which can be upgraded using stardust. There are currently 4 levels (we might introduce more later) with every ship starting from the first and working its way to the top level — master. Really want a Guardian Master Millennium Falcon? — head over to the marketplace and you might find one there.
SpaceX tokens
SpaceX tokens act as a lifetime membership token to the CryptoSpaceX universe. At the launch of every episode users who own SpaceX tokens shall receive launch assets in their ethereum wallets. Not only are these pre-sale tokens important to build a strong community, they enable us to reward early adopters of the game. Whenever stardust is purchased, 30% of the ethereum goes to HODLers of SpaceX tokens, 20% to devs and the rest to the star owner. Further every new episode will feature exclusive new surprises for SpaceX HODLers.
Episode I launch assets shall include a map to a planet with just enough stardust to build 3 spaceships — everything you need to battle. Be extremely lucky and one of your spaceships might turn out to be the Death Star — launch exclusive with a 0.5% generation chance. HODLers also get a chance to get the ownership of a star before game launch.
Announcements
While our team is working on the deadlines, we have some interesting contests and community giveaways lined up. Design and submit a poster for the Episode I of the game release. For all the bloggers and crypto enthusiasts, write blogs on popular channels to help us spread the word. Top posts and submissions shall be rewarded with ethereum, SpaceX tokens and a cool Star Wars character token(this would show on their game profiles). Soon, we would also be publishing our game contracts and along with it a massive bug bounty. So coders, stay tuned!
