ODEM Signs Draper Dragon Fund’s Richard Wang

Chiasso, Switzerland Chiasso, Switzerland — 3–11–2018 — ODEM, developer of the world’s first On-Demand Education Marketplace, is delighted to welcome Richard Wang, a partner at Draper Dragon Fund, as a member of the company’s strategic advisory board.

Wang will assist ODEM in fostering new relationships in Asia with leading technologists, financiers and educators to advance ODEM’s mission of using blockchain, or distributed ledger technology to make higher education more accessible and affordable.

Wang, who joined Draper Dragon Fund in 2011, has more than two decades of experience in business development, technical marketing and sales management in high-technology. Draper Dragon, a sector-agnostic-early stage fund, is a member of Draper Venture Network. Before his involvement with Draper Dragon Fund, Wang was chief executive officer of QunZhong E-Commerce.

Switzerland-based ODEM is developing a blockchain-based platform to streamline the logistics of organizing and delivering short-and-medium-term academic experiences that have traditionally been plagued by inefficiencies. Blockchain technology also underpins the creation of the ODEM Token, an exchangeable digital token.

ODEM is in the midst of an initial coin offering to raise capital to fund platform development. The company has already raised €5.58 million (US$6.8 million) in the crowdsale and its pre-sale.

KPMG is ODEM’s legal advisor while SICOS (Lux) S.C.S. has provided ODEM with advice and counsel on the crowdsale and its structure.
