Latest news about Bitcoin and all cryptocurrencies. Your daily crypto news habit.
Since 2011, Blockchain.com has been one of the most trusted and widely used crypto platforms in the world. We’ve grown to 85 million wallets in more than 200 countries, thousands of institutional clients, and facilitated more than $1.2 trillion in crypto transactions. As we look toward the future and continue to build on more than a decade of innovation, I’m excited to welcome new engineering leaders and recognize the outstanding work of promoted leaders as we build the future of finance.
Please join me in welcoming two new colleagues and celebrating two well-deserved promotions.
- Sven Niederheide has been promoted to Chief Compliance Officer. Based in Germany, Sven previously served as our Head of Legal and Compliance and as Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), where he has been working alongside regulators and acquiring the appropriate licenses in Europe and beyond. During his time at Hamburg Commercial Bank AG, Sven also supported the transition from BaFin supervision to the European Central Bank including its Assets Quality Review (AQR) and later the successful sale of the formally state owned bank to a consortium led by Cerberus Capital Management. A former Chief Compliance Officer, Sven is skilled at navigating complex regulatory landscapes.
