Cheaper and Faster Wire Payments are Now Available on Bitfinex in GBP. Buying Crypto Has Never Been Easier.
Wire transfers, which are also known as wire payments, allow money to be sent quickly without the need to exchange cash. They allow two parties to transfer funds smoothly, even if they’re on different ends of the world.Â
We’re excited to announce that one more fiat currency, British Pound (GBP), has now been added as a bank transfer option powered by OpenPayd, a global payment and banking-as-a-service (BaaS) platform for the digital economy.Â
From now on, Bitfinex users can instantly buy Bitcoin with both EUR and GBP on the platform. It is also possible to purchase Tether tokens (USDt), Tether Gold, Ethereum and other tokens with bank transfers on our platform, with no minimum or maximum deposit amount.Â
How to Deposit GBP with OpenPayd on Bitfinex
- Log in to your account or sign up on Bitfinex.
- Verify your account to at least an Intermediate level.
- Navigate to the Wallet page > Deposit > GBP.
- Select OpenPayd from the list of processors.
- Enter the deposit amount and click Confirm.
Note: There is no minimum or maximum deposit amount for using OpenPayd services. The transfer fee is £0.50 per transaction.Â
How to Withdraw GBP with OpenPayd on Bitfinex
- Log in to your account or sign up on Bitfinex.
- Verify your account to at least an Intermediate level.
- Navigate to the Wallet page > Withdrawal > GBP.
- Select OpenPayd from the list of processors.
- Enter the deposit amount and click Confirm.
Note: The minimum withdrawal amount is £25.
Important: For the first time you use the OpenPayd service, you will need to agree to the Terms of Service before you can proceed to finalise the withdrawal.Â
