Illuvium, the game studio for blockchain P2E and NFT games built on Ethereum, has announced the integration of Chainlink Price Feeds, bringing Chainlink’s industry-standard off-chain price data to the platform.
The integration will help Illuvium ensure that all participants in the ongoing Zero land sale have fair access as the gaming platform expands its reach within the Metaverse.
The ILV/ETH Chainlink Price Feed, the game noted in its announcement, also ensures that all price data is accurate and that all buyers will pay the same price – whether they use sILV2 or ETH.
Kieran Warwick, the co-founder of Illuvium said in a statement:
Chainlink Price Feeds have a time-tested and secure performance history providing market data to top DeFi protocols, such as Synthetix. Using Chainlink Price Feeds to help secure our land plot mechanism, we’re furthering our commitment to using the best blockchain infrastructure and creating a world-class Web3 gaming experience.
Using the Chainlink Price Feeds means the Illuvium: Zero ecosystem will benefit from critical features that enhance security. The high-quality data will help protect users against attacks such as flash loans. The integration also means users get real-time, decentralized data from secure node operators.
Illuvium, which utilizes the Immutable X network to achieve sub-second transaction times as well as for its zero gas fees, remains in Private Beta at the moment. However, it is scheduled to go live publicly in June 2022.
