Anchorage Digital Joins the Nasdaq Crypto Index™ as a Core Custodian
Anchorage Digital is pleased to announce Anchorage’s inclusion as a Core Custodian for the Nasdaq Crypto Index (NCI™).
Nasdaq celebrates Anchorage on its iconic Times Square sign.
Anchorage was selected by the Nasdaq Crypto Index Oversight Committee for its proven technology to manage billions of dollars in digital assets and the ease of use of the Anchorage platform, which allows institutions the ability to immediately trade positions with some of the fastest SLAs in the industry.
“We’re proud to provide custodial support for Nasdaq’s flagship digital asset index offering. Anchorage was built to enable institutional investment in digital assets, and Nasdaq’s Crypto Index provides a trusted on-ramp.”
— Diogo Mónica, President and Co-Founder at Anchorage Digital.
The NCI follows the crypto landscape, tracking the performance of a diverse basket of USD-traded digital assets that are subject to rigorous liquidity, exchange, and custody eligibility standards. Assets include Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Chainlink (LINK), Uniswap (UNI), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Stellar Lumens (XLM), The Sandbox (SAND), Axie Infinity (AXS), and Filecoin (FIL). NCI was introduced in February 2021 as Nasdaq’s first digital asset index providing a benchmark for institutional investment.
Approved asset managers will be able to choose Anchorage as a core custodian providing investment-grade infrastructure to support any NCI tracking product.
