On March 25, Mykhailo Fedorov, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, announced on his official Twitter account the launch of an NFT museum where the most memorable events of the Ukrainian-Russian conflict will be displayed.
This seems to be the materialization of an idea first revealed by Alex Bornyakov and reported by CryptoPotato on March 14.
According to Fedorov, the museum will serve as a place to celebrate “the Ukrainian identity and freedom,” preserving the memory of the events that took place from February 24, when Russia launched its attack on Ukraine.

In addition, the NFT museum will serve to collect donations to help the Ukrainian people overcome these difficult times.
Cryptocurrencies and NFTs join forces to help Ukraine.
In this Russian war against Ukraine, cryptocurrencies have proven their potential to help a country and its citizens from an economic point of view. They have also raised awareness of a community of enthusiasts that want to support human life beyond any side or political tinge.
According to the official website of the NFT Museum, 100% of the proceeds from the NFT sales will go “directly to the official crypto-accounts of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine” to support both Ukrainian troops and civilians.
The NFT museum was created to leave a mark on history. The Ukrainian government wants future generations to know how they lived the war and what it meant to their people.
“The formula of each NFT is clear and simple: each token is a real news piece from an official source and an illustration from artists, both Ukrainian and international […] We will never let any single day of this period disappear from the ledger of world history.”

Alex Bornyakov, Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation, said that cryptocurrencies have played “a significant role in Ukraine’s defense,” helping to supply Ukrainian troops’ demand for food, medicine, communications, bulletproof vests, etc. For now, the donations are not being used to buy weapons, even though almost all of the funds have gone to the Ukrainian Army.

Ukraine is rethinking the way history has been told for years, with a collection of NFTs that show virtually hour by hour how all the events of the war started to unfold starting on February 24, 2022. Sales of the NFTs are expected to begin within the next 4 days.
