Amid all the heavy money rains into the meme cryptocurrencies, Floki Inu (FLOKI) joins the list. The meme cryptocurrency has shot up by more than 50% in the last 24 hours as star performer Shiba Inu (SHIB) goes on the rest mode after the mammoth rally.
It looks like investors have been pulling money out of Dogecoin (DOGE) and moving the same into Floki Inu (FLOKI) and Dogecoin (DOGE). Furthermore, the aggressive marketing campaigns by Floki Inu coin promoters have helped gain traction to the meme crypto.
Over the last few weeks, the London public transportation system has been flooded with ads of “Floki Inu”. Tube stations, buses, and trains in London have seen physical adverts with the slogan “Missed Doge? Get Floki”. In a Medium post last month, the promoters of the coin wrote:
“To keep momentum moving, Floki Inu is assaulting the market with very targeted and aggressive marketing campaigns. These advertising campaigns will run together and will be a full-out assault of the London public transportation system.”
Floki said that it has already contracted for spending $1.5 million in advertising. Earlier today, the FLOKI price touched an all-time high of $0.00020. The meme cryptocurrency valuations have shot up by 4x in the last 2 days registering a solid 300% gain.
The Craze Around Meme Cryptocurrencies
As said the recent rally in FLOKI comes at a time amid the investor mania around meme cryptocurrencies. The Shiba Inu (INU) stormed the market over the last few weeks becoming the top-ten cryptocurrency by market cap.
However, after hitting an all-time high of $0.0008 earlier this week, the SHIB crypto has been resting for a while and other players like FLOKI and Dogecoin have taken the lead. The investor frenzy around meme cryptocurrencies remains at an all-time high this year. It will be interesting to see if FLOKI can continue with its price rally by following the SHIB route.
